	The Cottage, built by Josephine Love for her younger sister, rests in a beautiful and historic mountain valley. Imaginative listeners may hear echoes of Ute hunting parties, French trappers, gold prospectors, gem miners, railroad builders, cattle ranchers, sheep herders, farmers and modern outdoor sports enthusiasts of all kinds. Dwight Eisenhower stayed at the Cottage after WWII and portions of "Roots" by Alex Haley were written there.
