Cottage guests are encouraged to feed the birds and will find stocks of bird
seed, cracked corn, peanuts and instructions for mixing humming bird feed.
Chipmunks and ground squirrels compete effectively with the birds. Deer,
raccoon, elk, big horn sheep and even bear sightings are common but please do
not feed them since dependence on human supplies is unhealthy for them (and
us). Trout and beaver are common in the streams nearby and fishing is
encouraged in the streams on the Narnia CO property.
